The 6233 might do the job if he doesn't mind not having a flip.

i dont think being a flip is a big deal to him as he did have the 3120
at one time but the sound thing is. I have looked at the N series for
him but I dont want to recommend something to him that he would be
paying a lot of money for things he can not use.

Another nice option is a Nokia 3200, a friend of mine has one and on
further consideration it has a great quality feel to it.

hi Simon thanks for the reply I dont think the 3200 has an fm radio
though does it? That is important to him. I am really leaning to the
6233 you said first off unles you have any other options. Thanks Trish

OK Trish, one last suggestion might be the Nokia 6300
    <http://europe.nokia.com/A4254241>, that's what I should have suggested
    rather than the 3200.

ironically Simon i was just looking at that myself. And got excited.
So i called my customer and he said the problem with sliders is that
it is hard for him to work and he has found that alot of slider phones
have small keys. He explained to me he likes the flip because the
whole bottom of the phone is keys and the whole top screen. Where as
in a bar phone the 2 share the same place and the part that looses out
is the size of they keys. He told me when you are blind you not only
need big keys but easy to figure out the difference. But looking at
the 6300 I think it would work. Trish
ps thank you so much for your replys I appreciate it.
