music player 6300

My wife and I have just upgraded to 6300 from 6230i, we have 2gig memory
cards in all phones, quality of the music in our case is not the most
important factor a big chioce is , I have been reducing the size of the
files and have about 1600 on the 6230i's, I did find a playlist limit of
around 40 but have not reached a limit on songs yet, from a cold start it
takes an age for the library to get sorted but from then on its ok, the
6300's are a different story, I seem to have hit a song limit of about 450,
selecting another song often causes a restart and update of the library,
the music manager is version 2, does anyone have any info or experience of
this, it really lets down an otherwise nice phone.

Have you tried breaking the files up into different folders? That may
increase speed of update.
