    Hi all,

Sorry if this has been asked before, I did a google group search but
    couldn't find the answer.

I was wondering if the 6100 could send a wallpaper pic via IR to another
phone (Nokia or others) directly? I went into Menu/Connectivity/Infrared,
but it only said activated for receiving. Nothing on sending. I also tried
to receive a picture from a Sonyericsson T300, but couldn't either.

If anybody could help, I'd appreciate it.

    Thanks a lot.

As far as I am aware, this cannot be done. The only way to send a picture is
    via a Multimedia Message.

Thanks for confirming, Sebby. I was hoping it would work like a TI
    calculator

MMS is not the only way.

You can transfer pictures, ringtones, contacts and just about everything
between phone and a PC/Laptop. Download the free Nokia PC Suite 5.1 to do
    this.
