This is probably a pretty lame question but has anyone noticed that were it
once said Orange on their phone it now says UK Orange? Mine changed around
four this afternoon....I've checked with other folk on Orange....both in
this area and further afield....but they all still say Orange.
Just curious really!

Re: UK Orange now??
Yeah, my mum has an original orange 5110, and it still says orange on it. As
well, i have a BT CELLNET sim card, but now they have changed to O2, i dont
get o2 on the screen, just bt cellnet. The main reason orange have changed
to Uk orange is that there are other "orange" networks about, for example,
Fr Orange = France orange, so thats why they might have changed it

I think it all depends on the actual software version in the phone.

So they think we don't know which country we're in now..?! I've heard of
jet-setters but when I travel I tend to have at least a rough idea of
where in the world I am ;-))

Hello Ivor,
> So they think we don't know which country we're in now..?! I've heard of
I guess that's the case. Here, Orange phones display "Orange F", SFR phones
"F SFR", and some on Bouygues Telecom "F BOUYGTEL"... But my 3310 (with
still my 5130 original SIM) now displays BOUYGTEL, after some hours with "F
BOUYGTEL" and a lotta options on the first hours of my 3310 :-)

Re: UK Orange now??
Yea but my software version didn't change between four and four thirty on
Saturday! I didn't even turn the phone off and on...or go out of
service....or pass thru a magical cloud whilst on a boat in the Bermuda
Triangle...or drink a potion! It just happened!

Bad person????
What are you on about? Posting a little context may let people understand
what you are rambling about, and consequently they may be able to help.

Sorry to hear that, it must be really uncomfortable for you. Try putting
some ointment on it!
