Some more info would be useful; are you saying that the SIM in your 6210
is on PAYG and was taken from another phone..? I ask as the 6210 itself
was never made available officially from Orange on PAYG.

Assuming the above, and the SIM is live and able to make/receive calls, do
    the following:

    1. Dial 453. This will give you a balance check on the remaining credit.

    2. To top up the credit:
    (a) Buy a topup voucher and call 450 option 2. Enter the number
    under
the scratch-off panel on the voucher when requested.

or (b) Get a top-up swipe card from an Orange shop or other retailer,
    they
are free. Call 450 option 5 to link the card to your phone,
    then go to
a shop that sells e-topup and pay them the money. If you go to
    an
Orange shop they will do all this for you.

You can also top up with a credit or debit card, but the above options are
    probably easier.

The only problem you will come across with a PAYG phone of unknown origin
is getting Orange to re-register it in your name. They will NOT do this
unless you can give the name and password of the original owner so if you
know the person it's best to do this in their presence then they can speak
to Customer Services and tell them they have passed ownership of the phone
    to you.

If (and I say *if*) the ownership of the phone is in any way suspect, run
a mile and don't touch it..!!

    Hope this helps,

    Ivor
