    can be a software corruption which can be fixed with a "flash" of the phones
    software.search on google for "Nokia DCT4 Flash". You will need a Flash
    cable (about 15 dollars ) to do this but the software is free on the web to
    download

    Thanks for the reply Kenty,

    Having never done it before, I wasn't sure if the phone could be
    flashed with it not working properly.

    if you look round on google there are companies that do it for about
    £20..depends where you are
