    Hello.

We are glad to inform you that we just released 2.1.8 version of Oxygen
    Phone Manager II (http://www.opm-2.com).
New version works with 57 Nokia models, supports personal contact images
for Nokia 7250i and has many improvements in Ringtones, Profiles and
    Phonebook Manager.
All the registered customers of LogoManager or MobiMB software are
eligible to get 30% discount on Oxygen Phone Manager II purchase. Please see
    http://www.opm-2.com for details.

    Changes in this version:
    1. Now all registered users having their licence expired are eligible to
register new phones instead of old ones for working with latest obtained
version of Oxygen Phone Manager II via Oxygen Registration Robot without
paying any fee. In other words, licence expiration no more affects procedure
of moving from one phone to another while new program versions won't be
available as before. Please note that registration/unregistration of the
phones for such users are avaialable only through Oxygen Registration Robot.
All e-mails to our support service with requests to add, change or delete a
phone registration will be deleted without processing.
    2. Profiles section interface changed for faster loading.
    3. Now "Restore" menu item is available even if phone disconnected (many
customers asked how to read data from OBK file without a phone).
    4. Calendar: "Current event details" panel added to Planner view (press
"i" button on toolbar to enable it).
    5. Improved Calendar handling for Nokia 3586, 3595 and 3560.
    6. Phonebook import: Now "Create new contact for each phone number"
option is taking into account even if the phone supports multiple phone
numbers per contact. It can be useful for example for saving Phonebook to
    SIM card.
    7. Phonebook: Added optional fixed column containing numbers of
phonebook entries. Can be switched off with "Show entry number column"
    checkbox in the Options window.
    8. Phonebook: Clicking on a entry number column header selects/deselects
    all visible contacts.
    9. Phonebook: double-click on empty image brings up the "Open picture"
    dialog (for Nokia 7250i).
    10. When opening Options window, the current active Phone explorer(tm)
    section's settings are automatically displayed.
    11. Added support for the several graphic formats. Now the program can
load BMP, RLE, DIB, GIF, JPEG, JPG, JPE, WMF, EMF, NOL, NGG, OTA, NSL, NLM,
ICO, WIN, VST, VDA, TGA, ICB, TIFF, TIF, FAX, EPS, PCX, PCC, SCR, PNG, RLA,
RPF, SGI, RGB, RGBA, BW, PSD, PDD, PPM, PGM, PBM, CEL, PIC, PCD, PCD, CUT,
    PSP files.
    12. VCard: Pressing "Enter" on phone's list causes either adding new
entry (if the list is empty) or editing the current entry.
    13. VCard: Header labels are "active" now. Clicking them brings up
    context popup menu.
    14. MMS Manager: Add *.MMS files dialog now allows multiple files
    selection.
    15. Call register: "Add to phonebook" item added to popup menu.
    16. Phonebook: Hiding "Duplicate numbers" window when opening VCard
    window to prevent errors.
    17. VCard: When editing phone numbers pressing "Esc" closed VCard
window. Now it simply cancels editing operation.
    18. Restore wizard: "Start restore" page in some cases didn't fit all
    the selected sections. Fixed.
    19. Restore wizard: Fixed bug with restoring after using Backup wizard -
    Error reading OBK file.
    20. To-Do List: "Copy to phone" and "Move to phone" menus included the
phones don't having To-Do List feature. Fixed.
    21. Resend registration key window : Fixed bug with creating e-mail
message even when "Cancel" button was pressed.
    22. Phonebook: Fixed bug with incorrect contact picture for Nokia 7250i,
if the picture was loaded using "Paste from clipboard" command.
    23. Phonebook: Fixed bug with "Clear all items" feature when columns
    order was changed.
    24. Phonebook: Fixed bugs with Find and Replace.
    25. SMS Manager: Writing messages with "Description" field is improved.
    26. Ringtones: Fixed bug with saving ringtones list.
    27. Fixed bug in handling caller groups for Nokia 5100 .

Sorry guys, I know English isn't your first language but this is a
    little awkwardly-expressed.

Just so I'm sure, if I have a copy of OPM that supports my phone, and
in 13 months' time I replace my phone with either the same handset (or
any other handset that is supported by the version of OPM I have
already purchased), can I continue using the software without having
to pay an upgrade fee for another years technical support and access
    to the latest version?

Or, to put it another way, does this change mean that Dolphin Boy can
    shut up now!?

    Our apologies for that.

Yes. Expiration date now affects updates and "manual" technical support
only. Even if your registration is expired, you still can register new
phones and unregister old ones with the Oxygen Registration Robot. It makes
possible to work with your new phones if they are supported by the version
of Oxygen Phone Manager II you have.

Æ> Or, to put it another way, does this change mean that Dolphin Boy can
    Æ> shut up now!?

Please ask something easier ;-) I'm not sure such a kind of garrulous and
malcontent boy is able to shut up ;-)

We made this change not to shut up someone, but to make our license policy
    more logical and customer-friendly.

If you will have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact us.

    With best regards, Oleg Fyodorov.

Not being a customer myself, let me applause you for that clever, IMO, idea.

This is a welcome change of policy, i think you'll find this improves

You probably agree when you think of a normal user which would have
registered , say, his 5130, and then changes within 24 months for a 3310, he
would have to pay for a new licence and updates when the 3310 is supported
for ages, and by buying a new licence, paying for most modern phones - which
    he doesn't care.

Sure, it was one of the main arguments for our license policy change.

I've e-mailed Oxygen with all the details, but as this now involves
