What is the Phone Security for 3390

There are several items the manual doesn't cover. What in blazes is the
Phone Security for. I would like to lock out my keys with a code instead of
a cheesy "menu *" pick.

To protect certain things such as the ability to delete entire address
book, delete call duration, etc. If you want your phone protected
enable SIM PIN and just shut off your phone except when you need to
use it. Of course no one can reach you when your phone is off.
