    Hi,

    I need some help.

I want to buy a mobile phone with an integrated or attached camera
module. I would dearly like to test each model on the market, but my
local Mobile shop don't want to set up the phones for my testing
    purposes.

So I decided to set up an email address and want you guys to send me a
picture with a description of the make and model of the mobile that
    created it.

I know I am asking you to pay for the call, but if I receive more than
25 responses - I will set up a web page with all the results displayed
and will post the link in this group.

Send your MMS pictures and descriptions to

    [email protected]

    Thanx

Yes and besides it's hard to compare on the different screens. In my opinion
you'd be more comparing screens than comparing cameras. Also in my opinion,
all phone cameras are crap, however all of them serve the purpose for small
screen display / MMS. Again in my opinion I think MMS is a dead end, and an
expensive one at that. I do take pictures occaisionally which I send to
friends right from the field, but in those cases I ALWAYS use e-mail and send
the picture as an attachment to the e-mail. This is much cheaper, as you can
CC your whole address book for a price LOWER than a single MMS. Also with MMS
you're never quite sure if the recipient is set up for it, EVEN if you know
they have an MMS capable phone. As the phone camera is such low quality, if
at all possible I take a picture with my digital camera, reduce it in size
somewhat and then send using my phone's e-mail.

Ok. Keep in mind that some phones may be better in low light conditions but
then somehow manage to look more grainy in daylight. Some pictures I take
come out really nice and bright, others (most) are crap when viewed on a
    computer screen.

    >I know I am asking you to pay for the call,

No you're not. I can take a picture and send it to my computer via bluetooth
and then e-mail it to you, and I'm online anyways.. ;-) I will send you some.
At least the ones that are PG-13. :-) (Nokia 3650)
