You need to purchase the nokia hermetically sealed room accessory (part
number NKHSR-1) if you want to do it dust-free. I think there are a few
going cheap on ebay at the mo'. ;o))

That's always a problem. I've got around the problem just by (very)
carefully wiping the screen and cover immediately before putting it
together. You could try anti-static wipes, or you could try using one of the
more expensive ionisers that can manually spew out positively charged ions
(they usually only give out negative, or are automatic) - Positively
charging the dust will stop it sticking to things as it will be repelled
away from surfaces (which usually have a slight positive charge). You can
also get cans of compressed gas for blowing dust around in computers (PC
World sell them). You could hold the screen loosely together, give it a good
blast of clean air from the can to remove any dust, then push the sections
together.

Or... just put up with it. You can learn to ignore it...

I got my wife to drive down the motorway at high speed. I stood out of the
open sunroof and changed my covers - dust doesn't get a chance to settle

You should have seen how much I fretted over the imperfections on a set
of "seconds" bathroom tiles when looking at them in direct sunlight.

As a set of tiles on the wall in the bathroom - I can see no such
imperfections...infact they look quite impressive.

Reminds me of the friend who had a leak in the tailgate of his Vauxhall
Cavalier...so he replaced it with a sheet of stout plastic...flapped a bit
in the wind...

I'm getting to that stage...in fact, I can only see it when I hold the phone
six inches from my face....

You know, you fit it, then you check it under non real world conditions.
Like shining a very bright desk lamp at it...

If I just walk around the street/house, it's not visible...I'm probably just
very sad...

Or fit the cover infront of a vacuum cleaner hose (preferably one which is
turned on). Just dont lose any small parts down there
