Please help to find instuctions for building LPT cable to unlock Nokia
3310. The idea itself appears in this group FAQ:
"...Alternatively, if you have a knowledge of electronics/soldering
etc. then you may find it easy to build your own. Many people on the
NG who have built them themselves have said that it only costs a
couple of pounds to make - the companies are selling them for anything
    from £40 to £200!
You can find the information for making these here, along with the
Maplin order codes and the appropriate software to use with the
    cable."
The "here" link doesn't work. And what is the appropriate software?
    Thanks a lot.

It's often not about the money, it's about wanting to DIY.

For me, time is money ;-) Time saved = money saved/earned

um you dont need a flasher LPT cable to unlock nokias 3310,

a MBUS cable (Com Port) cable is needed and Rolis NokTool1.8 or Knok95 Build
    1a

A flasher cable will update or modify the phone's firmware (and iron out or
    introduce new bugs)

    cheers
