6310i and plantronics m1000 blue tooth

i am having probs with my 6310i and a m1000 bluetooth headset i can get it to
work for a minuite but i cant pair it any one any ideas

I understand that BT stability was significantly improved in the recent
version of phone's firmware: 5.5.
