Hi,
I don't have a 6600, and I'd like to know if it's possible to use Opera
over a bluetooth connection to a PC connected to internet, rather than a
GPRS/GSM data connection ???

Yes, that's possible.
Go here (it's for a Nokia 3650, but it should be similar)

Hum... ok... I googled a bit more and found that it seems to work with the
3650 but not with the 6600 :/

Re: Nokia 6600, Opera/internet over bluetooth
are you sure your bluetooth on your computer and mainly your computer is
enabled for internet connection sharing....
also dont forget that you must have the dial-up networking or lan profiles
active as well...
no use trying to get on the net when even your computer isnt enabled to
share the internet connection....
I will soon be a proud owner of a new ngage , and once I set the ngage to
connect via my laptop Ill post the entire details
including computer settings....something thats missing so far in the
explanations....
xmas cheers all...
ps the sooner nokiagame.com sends me ma phone the quicker

Re: Nokia 6600, Opera/internet over bluetooth
it's different on the N-Gage. I got it to work w/o problem, but still can't
get it to work on my brother's 6600.

Re: Nokia 6600, Opera/internet over bluetooth
what profiles (dialup networking, serial, etc) are supported with bluetooth
on the 6600?
what profiles exist in the n-gage?
are there any profiles missing on the 6600 that are present on the ngage?
