Anyone have any idea when it may be released down under?
Yes, I know about "first quarter 2004", but does anyone have a more
specific DATE?
I've seen the reviews and I can't wait to get my hands on one!
Any help appreciated.
Cheers,
Jason

Re: Nokia 6230
Nope, this is the 6220:
http://www.nokia.com/nokia/0,,5879,00.html
and this is the 6230:
http://www.nokia.com/nokia/0,,47665,00.html
As you can see, they are completely different phones.

I've been looking at the 6230 as well... looks very nice.
Improvements over 6220:
Better camera (640x480 instead of 352*288)
Video clips (5min instead of 1/4 of a minute)
Better screen (active TFT/16bit instead of passive/12bit)
Additional softkey
EDGE 10 (twice as quick)
MMC Card
MP3/AAC player
Bluetooth
etc.
I think that the Java stuff is newer, has a full TCP/IP stack and hence
updated WAP support, and just a bunch of other small improvements.
It's the old phone, but bigger, better, faster, newer. For me the screen is
enough alone, I hate passive lcd in daylight. Oh and Bluetooth is good.
And the MMC card. And the MP3 player. Wouldn't take a second look at the
6220, but the 6230 seems to have it all. I want one. Now. I need it. :-P
