I've been a customer with Sprint CPS for about a year and a half. I've
been seriously considering switching to T-Mobile because of problems
with Sprint. My wife also has problems with her carrier, and so we had
both planned to switch to T-Mobile. However, T-Mobile's family plans
kind of stink and when I saw Sprint was offering a regional shared
plan with 1000 anytime and unlimited minutes starting a 7, I started
to think twice. I visited my local Sprint store, where the saleperson
tried to discourage me from this plan because customers were
complaining that it was not possible to track shared minutes online
and many customers were going over their minutes. I sent an e-mail to
"E-Care" and got the following response:
"Currently we are experiencing a temporary system-generated
error on the Web site due to which the PCS to PCS Minutes for the
secondary subscription are shown as being pulled from the Anytime
Minutes. This is a known issue and we are aware of the inconvenience
that our customers are experiencing due to the same."
Does anyone have any first-hand experience with this? The e-care rep
told me, "I would suggest you to go for this plan and need not worry
about this
problem." But I am worried. I've had other problems with Sprint that I
was promised would be resolved over a year ago, and they still have
not been resolved.

Re: Shared Plan Usage
I have been a SprintPCS customer for about 4 years and a Share Plan Customer
for over a year. I personally think that the share minute plans are great.
Some people have problems with different minutes for the second phone
showing up in the Anytime Minutes on the website. I do have this problem
with my wife's PCS to PCS minutes (my Sister and Mom share a different
sprint plan and they don't have the problem). Please note that this is
corrected each month on the final bill so it is not like you are really
getting billed for the extra minutes but it is something I wish they would
fix (does kind of make it hard to track minutes when you have close month).
But, as you said they don't seem to ever fix some things.

Re: Shared Plan Usage
I have never had a problem with the shared plan and have been on it for over
2 years. It works fine, I have four phones and we never go over. The website
log minutes are pretty accurate. You have to see the aggregate minutes and
the ones for each phone.
I also have the $7 after 7 unlimited plan and I don't see those minutes
logged in. However, I talk on it all of the time and have never gone over.
