I've been invited to attend a Cingualr GSM demo showing off new
phones. To bad the area is GSM dead once you're five miles out of
    town or on the freeway.

Any questions anyone would like me to ask? <snicker>

I'm going to ask how it will be getter for me than Sprint where
I get unlimited text messaging at no additional charge (Cingular
charges for it), reliable coverage in all major cites (Cingular
uses roaming agreements that are often unpredictable), I get
analog coverage in rural areas (Cingular is dead once off the
GSM network with a non-GAIT phone), and unlimited web browsing
(Cingular charges by the data usage - I think they estimate that
visiting like 100 web pages will cost you around $7 ).

Ask for a detailed coverage map.

JRW ... don't ask for this guy (J. Range) ... he is Phillipe! As usual, his
    intent is not good.

Veldhouse is apologizing for Cingular now too?

If JRW is concerned about Cingular coverage why would asking for their coverage
    map be untoward.
