I have an Audiovox/Toshiba 9500 (CDMA2000) that I believe is supposed
to be PCS compatible. Current the phone is activated under Verizon
Wireless. My company is setting up a SprintPCS account for work
related use. Sprint cliams that I can only use a phone with a
SprintPCS logo. Is there a way to program the SecondNAM feature of
this phone for a SprintPCS account. An example would be 1 phone with
two different #'s for two different wireless carriers.
I do know how to program the phones advance features such as
SecondNAM, etc...

Re: New Account Activation
SprintPCS will only activate its own phones.
They have a good leg to stand on in arguing that any other phone they dont want
to be responsible for and dont support.

SPCS will not allow a non-SPCS branded phone to registered in their system.

Yet another reason I left SPCS for Verizon - VZW was perfectly happy to activate
my 270C, even without a VZW logo on it.

Trust me, I don't want to leave and am not leaving Verizon. I can't
however pass up a deal of
1. 750 National Minutes
or
2. 750 regional + 750 Regional N&W
Plus unlimited Mobile for only a few $$ a month.
