After an exhaustive search, I found the info about connecting laptops
to the Vision service via handset. So it is doable, just not
permissable. And so I wondered how vigilant Sprint was regarding the
alleged abuse. One subscriber wrote: (Sept. 26, '03) "It worked fine
then after 2 months I got a letter from Sprint saying they were
changing my billing, because I was using the internet from my cell
phone. New cost one cent per Kilobyte.Or I could add $100 to my
monthly cost and have up to 300 Meg a month of data." Anyone else run
into this? Are they consistent these days about stopping such
activity?

They are consistantly inconsistant. If you don't use it every day, and you
limit your useage, it may be alright.

I have used Vision on and off for a year connected to my laptop while RVing
and have never been charged other than the $15 monthly charge. DonnaB
