I am thinking of switching to the extended local calling area plan and am a
    bit confused.
    1. What would happen if I use Vision when I travel out of the extended
calling area - I know you do pay extra per minute if you make a regular
voice call but what about Vision?
    2. I am not on a contract (I pay the extra $10 per month) - what would
happen if I wanted to switch back to the nationwide plan - in the middle of
the billing cycle - would each plan be pro-rated? Or would I have to switch
at the end of the billing cycle? I would want to do this only when
    traveling.
    Thanks! DonnaB

Good question, I don't think anyone's thought about that one (or even
tried it). Presumably, if treated the same way as voice, then you might
be charged on a per-kilobyte basis if you use it outside of your service
area. To be on the safe side, that's what I would expect.

So far, it looks like Sprint is making plan modifications go into effect
at the start of the next billing cycle. So if you switch mid-month,
more than likely your old plan will stay in effect and the new plan will
kick in once you start a new cycle.
