I just got a new VGA1000 and noticed the covered card connector on the
bottom fits the plug on the car power cord from my old LG1010. When I
plug the cord into the Samsung (not plugged into the car though), the
cover charge light comes on, as if it thinks it's charging. Should I
be brave and plug it into the car also? (I don't have phone
insurance!)

Just asking.
