I've been trying to log into my account on the SPCS account management site.
I'm having problems logging in. Is anyone else having problems?

If you just changed your calling plan, you often can not get in until
the next billing period starts. Call *4, and if they can't give you info
on your account, they're locked out too.

Phillipe, you know this is bogus advice. Whether someone has changed plans
or not has nothing to do with trying to sign on to the manage page ... If
someone has changed their plan, they won't be able to see their current
account activity till the next billing cycle, but they should be able to see
everything else on the account.

Re: SPCS Site Down
No, this has happened to me before. When I changed my service plan I
couldn't get in to the site OR get my info via *4. To get around this I
would call customer service on off-peak "free" time and ask what my usage
was. After I did this twice though the CSR put me on weekly notification
without telling me for two months free. When I saw the message on my phone I
called CS to have them remove it immediately because I did not authorize it.
They tried to tell me that it's free for two months but I didn't care. I
didn't want the hassle of taking it off later on.

This isn't the reason why the OP could not get into the SPCS site Peterbilt
.... As mentioned in my reply to James... err ... Phillipe ... err and the
rest of his 38 other ID's ..., the only place one could not access through
their manage page was when they made changes to their plan and they wouldn't
be able to see current usage, till the next billing cycle starts.

??? It shouldn't have mattered when you called CS, as those calls were not
charged against your monthly minute allocation.

Apparently, you are (or were) on a low minute plan, where you needed to
watch your minute usage. Seems like two months worth of free service of
getting notifications was a pretty good deal.

ROTFLOL Phillipe ... I had answered that specific situation in my original
reply to the OP ... Steve. You call me a liar, and then create a whole new
ID to reply to yours truly? The irony here is that you lie, even if you
provide a correct answer, everytime you post with a new ID ...

Re: SPCS Site Down
You don't understand what I'm saying. When I changed my account I could not
get into the website to manage my account at all and I could not call *4
until the end of that month. So, when I wanted to get my usage information I
would just call a CSR and get it from them. I know you're not charged for
that any longer. The charge wasn't my point, my point is that I also could
not get into the website to manage my account or even SEE what's in there.

Re: SPCS Site Down
I have a 300 minutes plan plus unlimited night and weekends for $30. The
plan change was the CSR offered me an 8pm unlimited start time instead of
9pm for 1 cent and a contract renewal. 300 minutes for me is more than what
I need but I've heard some stories about people being charged for calls they
didn't make so every few days I call to check what my usage is. Call me
paranoid but I don't want to be surprised with a large bill at the end of
the month, especially since I have Sprint automatically charge my credit
card.

No, I do understand. Changing a plan option, as you mentioned in your follow
up post, should not impact on whether you can get into your manage page. The
only thing you shouldn't be able to open *within* the manage page, when
changes are made to a plan, is your current usage page. You should have been
able to access everything else like email, review download ringers,
screensavers & games ... etc.
Now, the only thing I can think on why you couldn't open your account is
that you did this change to your plan in the summer, around July or August,
when SPCS was having a problem with their authentication server, where none
of us could get into the manage page for a while.

Sounds like SPCS did you right then, by giving you the daily notification
option for two free months. You could have monitored your usage, till you
could access your account via the manage page @ NC, & then cancelled the
option.

Re: SPCS Site Down
Yup, that was it. It was in mid-July that this happened. In fact, I signed
up for 2 months free vision and it wouldn't work so the tech over the phone
told me I need to bring the phone in to a store to get new firmware
installed on it. When he did that he changed my user ID. That caused a new
set of problems because the new ID wouldn't propagate to any of the servers
except one. After three days trying to get it to work I canceled it and told
them to call me when it's working and I'll think about it then.
But you're right, it was back in July. Thanks for clearing that up.

Re: SPCS Site Down
At that point I had so many problems I didn't need anymore. Plus I didn't
like the fact that they just put it on there without telling me.

They didn't tell you? How did you know you would get 2 months free?
