It appears that they are finally working on bringing back the tower
maps. The main page now loads instead of the coming soon message. But
I'm getting a page not found error when I try to click on any region.
Anyone else? Maybe they will get them up soon.

Nice to have the maps back again but there are a number of errors with
the new ones. Towers have disappeared and future towers have been
removed. What's up with this? Affiliate tower areas can no longer be
viewed either.

Re: Tower maps coming back
I just checked WI, and both Sprint PCS and Alamosa antenna sites
are shown.

Re: Tower maps coming back
Similarly in Ohio, Jerome.
I see quite a few Horizon PCS towers I know about.
Also there ARE some future SPCS towers shown, though not many.

Not sure about other markets but on the Los Angeles and San Diego area
maps there are a lot of missing towers that used to be on the old maps
but have disappeared on the new maps. (Beverly Hills/Hollywood Hills
for example) What's up with that?

I still wish the zoom function would go another level or two for better
street detail.

Re: Tower maps coming back
I wish that the maps were either all the same scale or better yet
had a scale on them.

If you want to get a closer view, go to
http://www.sprintsites.com/login/log...TOKEN=90730436
register and you are on your way. You will have to download Autodesk,
but it is free.

There's a feedback link on the tower maps page. Let's all tell them
how we feel and maybe they will make some improvements to these.

I have never been able to download Autodesk on Netscape 7.1. It gives
an error message.

Curious. I registered for that site, and after confirming it via email, I
got on the main page, but every time I clicked a piece of the map, or the
folders, or any of the other links, I get bounced back to the sign on web
page ...

They require you to chew cookies (spit).
It does work. Funny thing, their map is more accurate about local streets
than Mapquest or a printed Rand Mcnalley. Damn slow though.
