SPCS offered no phones with Bluetooth, and appeared to cancel the
relationship with Sony/Ericsson, so our plan was to go to TMobile and get a
free S/E T610 plus Jabra Bluetooth earbud. Of course, there would be a
number transfer, etc. Today the T608 BT phone was released. Reviewing my
history, SPCS agreed to send me a free one. My net cost is $45 or so, the
price of a BT earbud on eBay, and my SPCS service costs $120/year less than
    TMobile's.

I really DO like SPCS a lot, and in five years have had no difficulties at
all. The above flexibility is an example.

It's nice to see that they took care of you. Every once in a while,
I'll hear a story about how SprintPCS did the right thing.

This shouldn't be something to get excited about, but we're all just
so used to telecom-business-as-usual practices with Sprint.

You said *we* above. Who are *we*? I'm asking as the rate of complaints has
dropped off drastically here, on everything save but Bluetooth ...

Re: Guess I'm not leaving Sprint after all...

Can anyone answer more to this "reviewing history". I'm interested in
upgrading to a new phone but have not yet reached my 18 month mark.

I've been a customer for close to 4 years, automatic bill-pay for most
of it. 2000min/$85 plan. 18 months are up around April and 2-year
contract up in July or so...

Is Sprint known for making deals with customers who are still under
    contract?
