To all,
My Samsung phone often simply shuts down while it's in my pocket.
Any ideas?
TIA,
Greg

Both the Samsung 3500 & 8500 experienced those problems as well. I'd suggest
taking the phone down to your local SPCS store, explain the problem to the
technician and ask them to test it out ...

Re: Samsung VGA1000 / A620 shuts off
I've only had my VGA1000 for about a month now, but I've never experienced
this.
As a matter of fact, I pretty much leave my phone on 24/7 and have never
found it to simply shut down on its own.
Definately have your local sprint store check it out.
good luck,
Matt

My Samsung 8500 started doing that when it got to be two years old.
My guess is that the battery contact is loose.
So far my four month old VGA1000 has not exhibited that problem.
