    Hello.

Any handspring treo users here? I want your comment regarding usability,
ease of use, bulkiness, etc. of your phone. Did you regret purchasing your
phone? Do you love your phone, being a all-in-one PDA/Phone device?

    Thanks in advance.

Why are you asking about the 300? Do they still sell it?

The current "hot" Treo is the 600, and I love mine (with a few
reservations, mostly being that I hate having to use the keyboard --
there's no Graffiti on the 600).

See http://www.treocentral.com/ for full customer-side coverage of the
Treo products, including the 300 and 600.

I have carried one for over a year. The flip breaks on it often. Get
insurance. The battery life is limited, carry a charger in your car. The
browser is limited, consider connecting it to a real computer. This is the
best palm and the worst phone I have ever carried. I will always carry a
palm and it is convenient that the phone is intergrated. This phone does not
do analog so be careful if you plan to use it in rual areas.I would get a
Sanyo 500 because you will want to upgrade soon anyway.

I agree with Jeff. I would get the Treo 600 though. I have heard alot
    better reviews on it.

    Re: Handspring Treo 300 comments?

I had a Treo 300 for just over two months and just went out and bought a
Toshiba VM4050 and a new Palm Pilot because I just couldn't take the Treo
anymore. I liked the flip design , bit it's big for a phone, with a very
unimpressive battery. The Palm part was as good as any Palm I've ever owned
(and I like Palm) and the built in keypad was a plus over those Palms. But the
phone part is horriable. Reception was slightly below average, sound quality
was poor and it was hard for me to hear anything without using the speakerphone
up to my ear. I could not access my AOL mail without additional charges, even
though I have Vision. Many web sites (even WAP sites) will not load up. The
Blazer internet explorer leaves alot to be desired. I have concluded that the
Treo 300 was a great idea, but needs alot of improvement. Maybe the Treo 600 is
better but for now I'll stick with a great phone and a great Palm Pilot.
