Only buy a card that claims to work with Mac OS X, and has current
drivers for Mac OS X. Buy with a return priveledge in case it don't,
despite claims. Buying locally facillitates that.
Here is a link to one person's failed attempt.

Subsequently someone got a GSM (not Sprint) Aircard working:

None of the cards I see listed on SprintPCS web page
http://www1.sprintpcs.com/explore/Ph...ctionCards.jsp
claim Macintosh functionality.
Perhaps you could use your cell phone as a Modem (a no-no) for SprintPCS
if you need to use SprintPCS. I can find no SprintPCS solution in a
quick attempt with Google. Hopefully there is one out there; don't buy a
SprintPCS card unless you have good documentation of it working with OS
X.

On Jan. 7, I posted some info here about a company that specializes in
connecting Macs to cellular data networks.
See http://www.bluemobility.com
Their website shows the Merlin C201 card.
