I found one of these units that mounts on a Handspring Visor and makes
it a phone. Are these still supported by Sprint and useable. Anyone
    using one of these?

    Thanks,

I see little reason for them to not support it. Sprint is rather proud
of not obsoleting customer handsets. The only issue is that some older
models don't support separate MDN and IMSI settings. Most customers I've
run into don't need it - it varies by market. I thought about buying one
not too long ago - it struck me as novel.

Replying to my own post - lame...
I just wanted to clarify that I don't know that that product will have
that issue - just saying that is the only issue I can think of that
    would be a problem.

Re: Sprint PCS Wireless Web Digital Link/Handspring

I stopped using mine only because it broke. I replaced it with a Treo 600.

I first installed it on a Visor (8MB) and was happy with it, upgrading the
Visor to a Visor Pro (16MB) after about a year. Kept that going until the
Digital Link passed away in late February or early March. I don't know what
did it in, but it wouldn't hold a signal and I didn't have a spare one
floating around. Handspring was giving (!) them away for the cost of
shipping a year or so ago and I got three of them and gave them away,
keeping the Plantronics headsets from them.

Anyway, I believe enough in the platform to have bought a Treo 600 *and* a
Treo 300 for my partner. The technology is really great and I like an
    all-in-one device.

    Enjoy your DigitalLink!
