HI! I'm going to FINALLY be upgrading my Old SANYO (boring) 5150 to
the PM 8200. I like what the phone has 2 offer & it looks Great.
But I'd like to know if anyone here has had any experience here with
that model & if so what are youre thoughts as far as its overall
function? Reviews? I'm hoping that i qualify for the $150 rebate. I've
    had my 5150 since 2002.
Also,i know its a vision phone,so is there a VISION plan i can
"TRY out" & maybe download sum ringers, like ringers & more,Then cancel
    if i dont like it?
THANX anyone who has answers.TAKE care.

I had one for the past year. The biggest con to me is the reception is not
as good as the old sanyo phones.
I use vision I can receive e mail from sprint and my home account and
answer them as needed. I also deal with crime asnd can take pictures and
send them where needed. I have downloaded some ringers but they are way to
soft and cn nort be used. Hope this helps

All of the Vision plans offer a 2 month trial period. If you find it doesn't
meet your needs, just cancel before the two months are up. The ringers, etc,
might cost you, but the monthly cost of Vision won't.

I just got the plan and it offered Vision for 2 months free. Try it out -
tell it to take a hike if you don't like it.
I love the speaker phone - let's you go hands-free while in the car.
Games play real well with it - some you play with others via a server.
The camera is nice - picturemail is cool.
Don't have to have Vision to be able to download ringers and games.
It's been a great phone for me.

I thought the earpiece sound quality on the 8200 was poor compared to
other phones. But of course it's all subjective.

I Love mine. You can go to http://www.freeringers.net and for like 8
dollars you can send ringers ( midi files ) and pics upto 1 meg. They
automatically reduce what you send to practically nothing. You can
also relay files right from your own desktop/laptop. With four phones
this has saved me a bundle.... the picture quality is fantastic and
with "Anvil Studio" ( free download from www.anvilstudio.com ) you
can edit the midi files to your liking.... my son found this site....
makes me like the phone more !!
