    Folks,

I am planning a trip to Puerto Rico in march. I will be staying at the
    resort in Guanica.

How is the coverage in that area?

I looked at the coverage map on sprintpcs site, but could not say for sure
that there is the coverage in Guanica area.

    Thanks.

SprintPCS does provide coverage in PR, in fact, they have many customers in
both PR and US Virgin Islands.

    have a good vacation!

San Juan coverage is pretty good.

When I travel outside the San Juan Metro area, coverage is sporadic.
Guanica I pressume will be weak.

I made calls from that area a little over a year ago. I have been using
Sprint in PR over 5 years and coverage in the past few years is very
good. It was hard for me to drive to a town that had no signal. The
coastal cities are well covered. Due to terrain in the mountains, some
    in-land areas have spotty coverage.

Overall, Sprint coverage in PR is good. Usually the resorts have some
antenna close-by. Th emain expressway and roads also have pretty good
    coverage.
