    I have had three Sanyo phones swapped out (at Radio Shack) and 3 sets of
    Plantronics headsets (MX 150) on my Sprint Service. The headset initially
    works great and I love it. Each time a failure occurs, the connection is
    somehow compromised and the headset connects erratically (off and on even
    without any physical movement) Sprint has viewed this problem on my phone
    and is now in the process of swapping out another brand new Sanyo phone
    (another MM 7400). Has anyone else experienced chronic problems with this
    equipment as I have described? I called Plantronics and they told me that
    this failure rate is unheard of and the headset should work easily for a
    year without trouble.

    interesting, I have had some intermittent behavior with my 2nd MM7400.
    The first one had a bad display but that is another story. Anyway, it
    seems to go away when I rotate the headset plug in the jack. The first
    one did not exhibit this problem however. Seems like you have a
    defective phone again. I would look at the esn's to ensure you are not
    getting them out of the same batch.
