Anyone use the ReadyLink feature from SprintPCS? It'll take some time (a lot
actually) for Nextell and Sprint to combine the two technologies and
platforms (direct connect and ready link). Was just wondering...

    Re: PCS ReadyLink

I use it all the time. Granted the call setup is slower then my Nextel
but overall its fine. Once the call is setup everything works great.
    No complaints here.

    Re: PCS ReadyLink

I love using it!!! It's just too bad that that more of my friends don't have
the ReadyLink. I've always enjoyed using it, but I'm also trying recruting
other people (Sprint users and nonsprint users alike) to use it or join
    sprint and use it... LOL...

    Re: PCS ReadyLink

One thing I have notice, however, is that Sprint's Ready Link isn't nearly
as advertised in tv adds and such as is say Nextell's Direct Connect. I used
to hear and see some adds about the Ready Link when it was first unvailed to
the public. But now, you're lucky if you see or hear a ready link add once
    in a great while.

    Re: PCS ReadyLink

I know I've seen a few posts on the nextell newsgroup with ppl giving out
their DC (direct connect) numbers. I'm surprised I haven't seen any such
activity here on this newsgroup for sprintpcs or any of the other groups I
occasionally browse. Maybe a lot of people don't use the Ready Link? Could
that possibly be one of the reasons Sprint isn't advertising it as heavily
as say Nextell does its Direct Connect? Just a mindless thought at 6:17 AM
on a Monday morning. Oh and hey before I forget, enjoy your Martain Luther
King Jr. day, if you have it off and even if you don't!!!
