Phone as Modem

I have the Motorola V3 phone with Sprint and the account is set up with the
Basic Vision service, not Power Vision. If possible how can I set up the
phone as a modem. I previously had the Samsung 920 and was able accomplish
this but now I am having trouble with the Motorola.

The phone itself is set up in the firmware to require PAM provisioning
from the network to work. Seeing as 1x Vision doesn't offer this, your
phone will not connect and there will be no phone as modem capability.
