At 9:04AM there is a local call to my Sprint number and it goes to voicemail
because my cell phone is off. At 9:30AM I turn my cell phone on and there
is no home screen indication of uheard voicemail. At 10:11AM my phone beeps
to signal the new voice message.

I've heard about this problem before, but have never experienced it
directly. Anyone know the reason for the delay?

I've had that happen to me too. No real pattern, it just happens
    sometimes.
    I too wonder why.
