I was just checking if there were any hidden costs for using my anytime
minutes to call Hawaii from California?

Hawaii is a state, so no, no additional cost.
However depending on the condition of California after the upcoming
election, it may or may not be a state, so be careful=).

He said more than that. He said he can't make any decisions on what in
particular to look at until he is elected and audits have been done to
determine where the wasteful spending (skeleton's in closets) is. That
seems wise to me. Although, a little research into areas where waste is
already obvious might be wise on his part. Not like I care ... I already
had a wrestler as a governor, I don't care to relive that fiasco again.

No. I have an acquaintance in Hawaii that I've called a few times on my
Sprint phone. No hidden charges.
