I'm thinking about getting phonelabs.com doc-n-talk. I've heard too
many complaints about cellsocket. Does anyone else make this type of
device? I heard that cingular does but couldn't find a link on their
website.
Thanks.

I've been looking at buying the cellsocket device. Do you or does
anyone else know of a good comparison of all these products? I've
mostly read good things about the cellsocket but I don't have any
links saved.
O/D

Re: anything other than cellsocket or doc-n-talk?
I've only heard bad things about cellsocket. Again, I was doing
research on my own and never expected to need to share so I didn't save
any of my links either. I read that many retailers are taking them off
their sites due to technical problems. Since then, my focus has been
mostly doc-n-talk or celldock which really looks like a great product.

Re: anything other than cellsocket or doc-n-talk?
I had been looking into the CellSocket as well. With the external
antenna it seemed like exactly what I needed. ...and then I tried
contacting the company that makes them. WOW! What a terrible
experience that was!!
The product had better stand on its own because there is nobody, and I
mean NOBODY, standing behind it. You don't get responses to simple
emailed questions (3 weeks and counting), nobody answers the phone, and
the automated messages you do get tell you to send them an email
....which is then ignored.
Seems clear to me that if a company has no interest in its customers
they probably don't put much pride into their products either. I don't
know about you, but I work too hard for my money to throw it away on
companies like WHP Wireless.
