Thought I had seen some clever spoofs before, but I got a couple of
spoofed ebay messages sent to the (junk) hotmail account I use for
usenet/celluar, saying I had added a new email address to my account
and to reply for corrections. Yikes!
Phoneseller@(ISP).com

I know most people are too aware to get caught, but what makes this
particularly tricky is the [email protected]

If someone's harvested usenet address was the same one they used to
make ebay purchases of cellphones, this targeted spoof might catch a
few unwitting people.

All I can think of is the spoofers are relating the Ebay message, to
the kind of content the forum addresses were found in.

Watch Out!
