I need to use a BlackBerry while traveling in western Europe. I would
appreciate hearing from experienced users about their opinions as to which
American provider is better for voice and data roaming in western Europe --
T-Mobile or Cingular?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Data and Voice Roaming from US Carriers in Western Europe
None. That would be crazy and insane to roam over there. It comes out to
over $3 per minute.
Buy a sim card locally over there to use with your phone. Make sure your
phone is unlocked before you go over there.

TMobile is a big player there, being based in Germany. When I was there
last summer, roaming was a $1 or $2 per min but, to my pleasant surprise, I
was not charged anything for data usage.
