That's quite arrogant and rude. I've had my GeoCities site for five years now, and through good design and promotion I've had almost a quarter million hits. Not all GeoCities sites are stupid, but some of the people who critique them are.

I think that was more for the people with underdeveloped sites that have just opened and are posting links to get $.

I agree with you about some people making sites just for the sake of having a link. That post was from a person who has been a member of this forum for seven months and has posted five times. I would rather read constructive and helpful things than read comments from the peanut gallery.
