Does anyone know if a group contact list created in Outlook can somehow be synced to phone?

Meaning, a specific group list created in Outlook that I'd send email to the created distribution list...if that distribution list can somehow be recreated on iphone so I don't have to select each person 1 by 1. Have them already in the group created in Outlook...

When I sync, I get all my contacts but the GROUPS???

Or is there a way to create that on iphone?

Or is this a limitation & I'm stuck creating groups for each email requiring multiple people?
