Re: Is there anything the iphone doesn't have
The iPhone's probably the most idiot proof phone out there. Extremely intuitive to use, you'd be hard pressed to find an easier one out there, especially considering all it does. Also, it's fairly simple to use iTunes to download new apps. You simply plug the phone in and the phone syncs everything, music, video, podcasts, applications, etc with nothing more than plugging it in.

Re: Is there anything the iphone doesn't have
coming from an icon in music industry Apple, it sure does lack of A2dp bluetooth profile where you can listen / stream music via bluetooth.
also, i think it's the only phone that doesn't have a sms forwarding (it's really weird actually)
it doesn't have the option to replace battery incase you run out of charge all of a sudden.
i think there's more, but clearly these one's are the biggest disappointments from iphone but due to it's great features, display and stuffs... people really adore it!Last edited by brainox; 05-03-2009 at 12:53 PM. Reason: Auto-merged Double post

Re: Is there anything the iphone doesn't have
Brainox has good points there, and, ultimately, regardless of what hits the market, someone out there will be disappointed in one way or another, it's impossible to please everyone. For example, Brainox mentions the A2dp bluetooth thinga-ma-jig. For me, I don't listen to music via a headset, so it's not really an issue for me, but it is for him. Perfect example. I've only had mine a week, so I'm still reeling over the awesomeness of it, not only that, a couple of the things I was disappointed in are being addressed in the 3.0 update coming in June. Overall though, the handful of people I've talked to who have one are in love with it for the most part, while each person had their this or that that they didn't like about it.

Even I noticed its blue tooth capabilities. Oh well, guess it will only take sometime until they perfected it. Its the 21st century now anyway.

Re: Is there anything the iphone doesn't have
It doesn't have a physical keyboard, which could or could not hinder your experience with the device. It did for me.

Re: Is there anything the iphone doesn't have
Yeah, probably the biggest drawback, but overall, at least for me, I'm getting more and more used to not having a physical keyboard. Also, I'm not texting all that often, but I do compose an email here and there, and I tend to keep it shorter rather than longer because of the keyboard.

Re: Is there anything the iphone doesn't have
iphone cannot cut paste or send multiple people txt messages

Re: Is there anything the iphone doesn't have
finish the statement, ... for another month until the 3.0 update comes out as far as cut/copy/paste is concerned, and as far as texting multiple recipients... that's been possible since version 1.1.3, a very long time....
1. Tap the SMS icon on the iPhone’s home screen to open the SMS program.
2. Tap the writing icon in the top right corner.
3. Tap the + sign on the far right to add a recipient to the SMS message. After one has been added, tap the + again to add more. Continue this until all desired recipients are added.
4. Then compose and send the message. It will go to all recipients listed on to "To:" line....
Apparently people like me, who know how to use Google, can send multiple text messages on an iPhone, just not people like you who waste your time bashing a phone you obviously know nothing about instead of doing a bit of research (all of about 1 minute for me).Last edited by SpaceNut; 05-13-2009 at 10:46 PM.
