Ok. I started talking to a girl who lives in Canada (I live in the USA). And after a few days of talking she got this odd feeling about me because she said that she tried to call twice and she got the message, "The person you are trying to reach is not accepting calls at this time." Now she thinks that I might be seeing someone else and that I block her number at certain times when I don't want my phone ringing because I am not being truthful.
Now, I know all the other arguments about trust, and do I really want a girl who isn't gonna trust me. I don't need or want advice on that stuff. All I want to know is, how and why would she get this message, when in fact:
1. Bill was current
2. I didn't block her or anyone else
3. Would that happen if VM was full. I am not sure if it was at the time, but it might have been.
4. Has this happened before to people and what answers were they given when they asked AT&T?
5. What can I do to make sure this doesn't happen again, pending she will even call me?
Thanks.

Re: on you are calling is not accepting calls at this time
Honestly, this looks like one of those issues that you ought to take up with AT&T. In your place, I'd put on my best 'dissatisfied customer' face, and go into my local AT&T store, rather than waste time talking to some rep who might well not give a sh*t on the phone. The reps in the local store seem to have more of an interest in keeping you happy.
Let me know what they have to say, if you please. And good luck with the girlfriend.
