My iPhone 5 Real-Time Review

it came and its up and running...

Restoring my iphone 4 settings to my iPhone 5 was a breeze and it was up and running in a matter of 15 minutes without Novocain using iCloud...lol

Feels comfortable in my hand, FAST, LTE 4G, A6 Processor, light weight almost feels fake.

No accessories to be found at √erizon or Apple stores,that sucked, no adapter for now.

these are just my opinions base on my experiences using the phone.

Someone else mentioned the weight of the phone was like air.
What do you mean about no adapter, what will it connect to?
Is not the same connections as all the other apple stuff?
How did you get yours? Preorder? or you stand in 22 hour lines ???

Pre-order it, the phone arrived around 330pm... the lines tonigh at Apple in a mall were about 15 deep, and i heard they got a fresh shipment in tonight also, doesn't seem to a shortage like with the ipad.

The power connecter is much smaller, apple is changing to a smaller connector and i guess their starting with the iPhone 5 and eventually changing all devices. You now need a adapter which sells for 25-30 dollars to fit at the end of the cord/connecter which can plug into Dock stations, or the common cords (4S). It does comes with a charger cord/plug, you can't use previous power cords like from the 4S or ipad type.

Battery life is excellent... I gave it a 100% charge around 1030pm, at 5am it's still was 100%... I'm hooked up to WiFi at home, but going to websites, downloading my news magazines as I did with my iPhone 4, this phone is really fast, this kinda of upgrade in a phone anyone can appreciate. I'm going to Atlantic City today and put my phone up against my iPhone 4 with previous trips usage.

I will say again the iPhone 5 is fast, especially for a cell phone. Searching the Internet pages load quick, that's enhances if you're connected to WiFi. I downloaded an App to keep track of my Cellular Data, for now I took the 2GB plan, I'll see if that's enough to cover my usage.

This is using the panorama option on the camera, not a big deal to me, I like the app 360. The camera does take great photos and videos

I've found my Galaxy S3 is very light, almost frighteningly so. It just feels so fragile. But apparently the iPhone 5 is lighter. I will have to compare the two sometime and be amazed at the weight of the iPhone 5.

What do you think of the display on the iPhone 5?

My opinion, i think Apple did a god thing making the phone taller not wider, it has a nice feel. the display is great as Apple pride its self on. I think a Cell phone has to feel good in your hand, be user friendly,and impressive appearance. Ill say it again, its FAST, its worth buying for that reason alone, i hate that Spinning loading Gear that keeps turning and turning, this phone is smooth and fast. I really notice the speed when sending photos and video.

I use Siri, but i think OUR habits makes us do things manually on the phone, like opening an App which is cool if you don't want to search your screens looking for it, considering you a ton of Apps. Yesterday with football, i use NFL 12 App for scores and stuff, i compared Siri score and NFL scores and according to the time left in particular game, Siri was 30-50 seconds more up to date...lol. All you have to do is ask it.. "what is the score of the New England Patriot game" Siri tells you the score and time left.

With any new phone what you use should be what is important to you, if a phone has great Graphics and you don't plays games, then that shouldn't be a reason to buy a particular phone. My personal preference, Speed, software (user friendly), Camera/video Camera .. and then everything else

Great display as usual with Apple, the taller screen gives you an extra row of Apps on your screen, no big deal but its nice. The bigger screen makes it a little nicer to look at when your texting or surfing the internet, or viewing photo/videos. I found myself using my iPhone for more task over the 6 months, and i think our cell phones are carrying a heavier work load today for both personal and business tasks than it did a year ago. Now with SPEED, WiFi hot spots, and iCloud making available everything on all my devices, when i went to Atlantic City three times this year, i left my Mac Book Air home and just used my cell phone for everything.

Take in consideration my choices are based on my personal preferences and needs, if your doing tons of emails or reading, or a lot of internet surfing, then a ipad or Laptop would be a better choice. I do think in general people are turning to there phones more, especially with social networks.

The down side switching to the iphone 5, or any 4G phone is Data charges and allotments. i downloaded a Data App which keeps track of your Cellular Data, and i also went on my √erizon account and set a notification to be alerted when i reach 75% of my allotment. I have no idea what i use because im hooked up to WiFi a lot, i think my 2GB allotment is plenty, but be aware of this when switching plans/phones.

The new size of USB connecting for charging the phone is smaller, well Apple had to start somewhere with the change so they started with the iPhone 5... get over it! I think the adapter should of been available at purchase or release of the phone because right now its a pain in the butt, but i do like that there's NO WRONG WAY to insert it, some how i always choose the wrong way with the old plug, i always guessed wrong!

Now i heard... i will find out today when i go to the Apple/Verizon store with my daughter to purchase the iphone 5 that if you pay 7-900 dollars for the phone you can stay on unlimited data plaln... doesn't sound right nor do i want to do it, but its interesting and worth it if your a Data hog.

define your question a little...

i'll try to answer though... the display explodes when you open an App, apple holds developers to a standard, and developers seem to take it up a step when designing an App for Apple. Top that off with Retina display,it makes the display screams...lol .. i hope this help.

i gave it a little battery test again, charged it 100% over night, still 100% this morning, over course i didnt use it and i'm connected to WiFi, but it shows no unknown battery drain...

i'll post some camera videos later...
the display is 326 PPI ...the highest high-definition on the market today, the 1136 x 640 screen resolution has 16:9 aspect ratio...
