Transfer Audio Files from a Mac / PC Using iTunes:
- Open iTunes on the computer
- Connect the iPhone to your computer using the Lightning cable
- In iTunes, click the iPhone once connected. (If necessary you can click View > Hide Sidebar)
- Access the Music tab and turn on Sync Music
- Choose to sync Selected playlists, artists, albums, and genres or Entire music library
- To sync voice memos and music videos, you can turn on Include voice memos and Include music videos
- Click Apply and wait for the sync to complete
- Once the sync is done, eject the phone storage via system tray (Windows OS) or by dragging the virtual drive from the desktop and into the trash can (on a Mac)
- You can now safely disconnect the phone from the Lightning port
Change the General Ringtone:
- Launch Settings
- Tap Sound > Ringtone
- Scroll to, and select the ringtone you want to use
- Press Home to confirm the changes
Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:
- Tap Phone on the home screen
- Tap Contacts
- Select the contact whose ringtone you want to change
- Tap Edit > Ringtone
- Select the desired ringtone and tap Done
Change the Notification Sound for Incoming Email:
- Open Settings
- Tap Sounds > New Mail
- Change the Vibration and Alert Tones as you see fit
- Optionally, to disable Alert Tones, set the option to None
Manage Emergency Alerts:
- Open Settings
- Go to Notifications
- Scroll down to, and tap Government Alerts
- Tap the slider associated with AMBER Alerts and Emergency Alerts to disable these features
