So Im planning on getting a new phone. I want it to be touch, and I really wanna go all out on this phone. I want great features.

While searching around today, I found this brand I had never heard of before. HTC. And I gotta admit, they have some of the best looking touch phones I have seen on the market. From the looks of it They have excellent cameras, lots of memory, nice features, a crisp interface.

I am currently leaning towards either the

    HTC 4g Max

    or

    HTC FUZE

please if anyone has experience or knows anything about these phones lemme know if they are good choices. And also, Im not limited to these two, I just thought they looked good, if anyone knows of any very good touch phones or ones better then this please let me know also. And if you can, fill me in on some pros and cons of the phones as well.

Go visit Phone Arena - cell phone reviews, news and specs

You can read reviews on any phone you like as well as check out the specs on each of them.

Personally I like the HTC Fuze and if I was in the market for a new phone I would definitely consider it.

Vu maybe but I'd say iPhone hands down. By far the most features and with Apps the sky is the limit. Also, IMO, easier to use than the HTC phones.

    Re: Best Touch Phone?

I have to agree and say iPhone. Although, I am not a WinMo fan, personally, if you must go w/ a WinMo device, the Fuze is pretty sweet. It has something called "TouchFlo" which is a UI that makes navigating Windows a whole lot easier than on other devices.

I LOVE my iPhone, though. I sell several a week, and the App Store is honestly what makes the phone for me. The OS is very user friendly... the phone is virtually idiot proof.

    However...
if you send a lot of MMS, and converting your phonebook to email addresses would be too much of a bother... go w/ a different device. I have seen this be a dealbreaker for a lot of people, and Apple hasn't offered an update to correct this, and they haven't allowed an App into the app store that will correct it. There are work arounds... but the work arounds void your warranty.

Since you are already eyeing on the HTC as your preferred brand, I would recommend you to take a look at the HTC Diamond P3700.

This phone is a complete package. It has: 3G, WiFi, GPS, 4GB internal storage, 3.2 MP Camera and FM Radio.

You can check our review here: Unlocked HTC Diamond P3700

I would also like to take advantage of informing you guys that our company offers an exclusive discount to Cellphoneforums members. We give $12 off on our unlocked cellphones on top of the Free Shipping that we also offer. To avail, just use the promo code "cellphoneforums" during checkout.

    Re: Best Touch Phone?

    Well,

You are deciding between a $200 stripped down, branded phone and an unlocked $700+ phone that is more a proof-of-concept than anything else.

Obviously you're interested in a touch screen phone. The first thing you should do is decide between the two technologies:

    Capacitive

    or

    Resistive

-- Look them up, weigh the pros and the cons. This is the SINGLE most important choice when choosing a good touchscreen phone. It is (afterall) how you will interact with your device 90% of the time.

Now weigh OS, Screen Size and Features.

If you're looking for a cheap touchscreen phone on At&t, I recommend the Eternity by Samsung. If you're looking for a touchscreen and you have $0, the Vu is... allright.

TouchFlo 3D is good on a handset with enough power to handle it, every HTC with TouchFlo available domestically is underpowered and is sluggish when handling TouchFlo.

HTC is a real good company but the Fuze is pathetic and the 4G MAX is a novelty.

Get a mite bit more specific about what you want out of a phone and we'll be able to zero in on exactly what suits you.

I just went and got the Vu and so far I love it. It's easy to navigate, not a smartphone so it won't confuse your average cell user, and for me it's easier than a phone with buttons because I can just click on what I want to open rather than having to scroll through things.
