I have this cell phone and I hate it with every living fiber of my being. I want a new 3G phone with a FULL keyboard >.< none of the replace phones in my plan (crappy family plan) covers a good one. So my question is can I just buy a 3G AT&T (That is my Provider) Phone and swap the sim to it? Also if it is possible what are my limits (if any) on what I can switch to.
Thanks in advance,

Re: Swap SIM from Samsung SGH-a777 to new phone
You can use any GSM phone which will accept your SIM card and has the proper bands for AT&T. If AT&T recognizes your phone as a smartphone, you will be required to subscribe to the appropriate data plan. If you are eligible to upgrade, you can choose any phone offered by your carrier. If you want to pay full price, you can purchase a phone elsewhere. The voice plan you have does not limit your choice of phones. Each member in the plan has his individual contract and can choose any phone. What phone you choose is only limited by your ability to pay for it upfront.
