Undoubtedly, it depends on your location. For example, verizon has a better network when it comes to rural areas and att has a better network when it comes to big cities. I recommend checking att reviews and verizon reviews. It may help you to choose the best option for yourself.

Re: Is Verizon better than AT&T? Why or why not?
The short answer is, there is no easy answer to this question. There are many factors to consider, ranging from customer service to network coverage. One of the most obvious differences between AT&T and Verizon is that Verizon’s wireless network covers much more land, whereas AT&T’s wireless network only covers a portion of the country. Verizon’s landline services cover more states than AT&T. Both Verizon and AT&T offer the option of nationwide calling, however, AT&T does not offer nationwide mobile data plans, whereas Verizon offers a nationwide mobile data plan. If you want to compare the two companies on their networks, you’ll have to decide which is more important to you. If you need nationwide wireless coverage, Verizon is the way to go, but if you just need local wireless coverage, AT&T might be a better choice.
