I have an Audiovox 8910 phone. I recently bought a futuredail data cable from radio shack so I could up ringtones on it. I downloaded the software from the FutureDial site and got my phone connected to my computer. I used BitPim to put ringtones on my phone and that worked great.

I'm now trying to set my phone up as a modem. I'm having trouble however. I have followed some directions found here on this forum and stuff found on verizons site in reference to their mobile office stuff. I set up a new modem and everything and set up a new connection. The number I use is #777 and the password and user name is QNC. When I click connect, the computer shows a "connecting..." window for about 5 seconds then I get an error message that says the computer can't connect to the phone. This is strange because my device manager says that the device is working properly. Is there some more software that I need from Windows or something?

I'm running windows XP.
