Ok i recently broke my old phone, but am still under a contract. So i figured i might as well buy a new phone instead of paying a **** load of money to get it fixed.

Well what my question was, is that with bell phones you have to download the pictures you take off the internet. Has anyone found a surefire way to hook your phone up to your computer in order to get the pictures? The phones i am enquiring on are. The Audiovox 8910, Audiovox 8930, Samsung SPH-a680, Samsung SPH-a600. Or any other bell phone that takes pictures.

    Please help

    Hey Liter,

That's funny - I was just about to post the EXACT same message.

I can verify that the a600 will reboot whenever you try to extract images from it. Not sure if it's because bitpim is doesn't directly support the phone, but I suspect it to be a crippling measure by Bell.

Anyone have verified a way to get photos off any bell phone?

I'm personally thinking I'll just order a nice 1.8 megapixel phone from Korea and activate on the Bell network.

Check out the TUTORIAL section at http://www.thephonemall.net/community - you'll find the step by step directions to downloading pics from the 8910 and 8930. The Bell samsungs are easy as well.

Hi I have a Samsung SPH-A600 phone and i bought a USB Cable and driver/software only to find it doesn't work...I run on Bell Mobility and I think that they've blocked out the ability to transfer pics from phone to computer directly...is there any way around this? desperate here.

    Help much appreciated thanks!

I have had no luck with the Samsung A600 - however, I did not play long with it. I am able to access the file system of the samsung A660, A670, A680, A740 by using the Samsung MODEM port in Bitpim. I wa only able to yse the Samsung A600 as a modem when I tested it, however, as mentioned previously I only had about 10 minutes to play with it.
Please keep me informed of any progress.

I've extracted pictures from an A680 on Bell and A670 on Telus using Bitpim... the LG6200 probably won't be much of a problem either since I've extracted from an LG535 and LG6190 using the same method

    LG 6200 tutorials

The LG6200 is no problem at all. I have created a step by step tutorial on downloading pics from the LG 6200 which can be found along with other LG tutorials on here:

thephonemall's got some good tutorials on how to extract the pics in no time... something web based would take too long to do a batch of pics
