I'd really appreciate recommendations for a financial services professional who is familiar with both US and UK investment/retirement regulations. Please email suggestions - and personal experience would be helpful. The person MUST fully understand 401k/IRA regulations, Social Security distributions, tax filing rules (8856 requirements) for a UK citizen married to a US citizen (with UK settled status).

Yes, but only if they have a work permit. If you're sponsoring your spouse or partner under the spouse or common-law partner in Canada class, they can apply for an open work permit if Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has confirmed that their application for permanent residence is complete

I understand the importance of finding the right financial professional who can guide you through the complex world of US and UK investment and retirement regulations. Firstly, I recommend checking out https://www.successionresource.com. While they may not specifically offer the services you're looking for, they have a team of financial experts who could potentially provide referrals or recommendations to help you find the right professional for your needs. In addition to that, I suggest reaching out to friends and family who have gone through similar experiences, or searching for online reviews and recommendations.

If you're planning to create a fintech app that caters to US or UK markets, you'll need to ensure that your app adheres to the financial regulations of these countries. To achieve this, you may want to consider seeking the help of a financial advisor or accountant who is familiar with the specific requirements of these markets. They can help you ensure that your app meets all necessary compliance and regulatory standards, allowing you to build a successful and trustworthy fintech app. Check out https://www.purrweb.com/blog/how-to-...a-fintech-app/ for more information on creating a fintech app.
