Customer service / billing
I started with Cingular 2 months ago. My package was to be set at $59.99. The first bill was around $178. After talking with them and finding out it was for the first two months up front, and the activation fee, I was ok with that.
The second month I was hit for an overage bill of $95. I check every few days on their automated system to make sure I stay in my minutes. They tell me after the fact that the system is not that accurate???????
And by the way those ROLL OVER MINUTES do not work for the first month??????
PS. It was nice of them to send me my info on my package 35 days after I get my phone to inform me that I have 15 days to return the phone if I dont like it.
$50 Best Buy Card WHAT CARD 3 months no card?????
Summery: Never do business with CINGULAR

Maybe if u would of went to a Cingular CORPORATE store and not some retailer store they would of told u what fee's would be involved and whatever else. NEVER go to a retailer or any AGENT (3rd party) stores cuz all they want is the sale. After the sale, ur nothin to them. People always go to them cuz they have cheaper prices on the phones and learn the hard way. Sometimes its just better to pay more for the products for better service.

Not true Cellular. I work for an authorized agent, and I do look out for the customer. A customer could just as easily have a problem with a Corporate store as they could with an agent. His situation could happen in any store.
